last night i watched the documentary marathon boy on hbo. rescued from the slums, it was discovered he had an aptitude for running and was running marathons by age 3.
my nephew is 3 years old and although he’s a whiz on the scooter i cannot for the life of me see him running 26 miles.
this will tug at your heartstrings something fierce for so many reasons, it was so heart wrenching i couldn’t watch the whole thing (or maybe b/c in a few months i will have a baby boy of my own)…
