i went into the city for a annual holiday dinner with “the girls” but before that …
i went to eliza’s eyes to have my eyebrows shaped, my gilt voucher was for an associate but i got lucky and got eliza herself [she did my eyebrows for my wedding 2 years ago] - i didn’t touch my brows for about 3-4 months before going and it’s so worth it!

i met a friend for tea after to catch up and a little shopping for treats for mc …
then it was off to jonathan waxman’s barbuto for dinner - it was cozy and nice, big open kitchen to watch the action as it unfolds … the food? well i wasn’t completely impressed, it was overall too salty for me but maybe my palate has changed since being pregnant? who knows? i but i did love the insalata stagionale & chocolate pudding dessert …
side story: in the 3 times i took the subway not one guy offered his seat, one guy even continued to play games on his phone with my big belly right in front of his face. during one ride, a girl was sweet enough to get up and while going towards the seat, the subway jerked and i fell, an ill-tempered woman yelled ‘jesus christ’ while no one offered to help me up except the girl who offered me her seat. i’ve been going into the city quite often this past month so i’m not surprised but it did shake my confidence in the city i love …](http://28.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_lwkc3jqdaJ1qbowx7o1_500.jpg)
